Barry and Laurie
Smith
and their four daughters are serving the Lord in a Church planting
ministry in Hamilton, New Zealand. Barry pastors the Hamilton Bible Church,
where he is involved in evangelism, discipleship studies and leadership
development. They continue to work with a team of missionaries in the
Auckland region, where Barry teaches in a church based Institute of Biblical
Studies. Laurie home schools, and is involved in the children’s and women’s
ministries of the church. Their whole family is involved in their community
through home school group activities, horse riding, basketball, etc. where
they seek to be salt and light. Barry is a volunteer host in their regional
hospital where he helps people find their way to their doctor or clinic.
Barry’s family lives in McRae, AR, just a few miles from our church.
